Over time, everyone gets cataracts. The lenses we're born with in our eyes get more and more cloudy the older we get. When you start noticing glare, blurry vision, or poor quality of vision, come see us. Our experienced surgeons have performed thousands of cataract surgeries, and know how to make you comfortable while getting you the best vision possible.
Sick of glasses and contact lenses? Laser vision correction can reduce or eliminate your need for them. It's nice to be free of glasses and contacts and see the world with just your own eyes. You may save so much money from not buying glasses and contacts that the surgery can pay for itself.
Our experienced, board-certified laser surgeon, Dr. Cranmer, would be happy to see you for a free consultation.
Glaucoma is a serious disease that can damage the nerves in your eyes and permanently rob you of sight. Usually, there are no symptoms until the glaucoma is quite advanced. As we get older, we should all get screened for this insidious disease. Patients with glaucoma need regular monitoring and appropriate treatment to preserve their vision.
If you need to be screened for glaucoma, or you need consultation and care of this disease, we are happy to help. Our eye doctors have decades of experience taking care of glaucoma patients. We offer the latest medical, laser, and surgical treatments.
Macular degeneration is a disease of the central retina that can rob patients of their central vision. Our physicians have expertise in the diagnosis and management of this progressive disease. Dr. Kaufold has many years of experience in administering the latest medications directly to the site of the disease, potentially saving vision when macular degeneration has become advanced.
All patients who have diabetes should have an eye exam at least once a year. Patients who have eye changes from this disease need close monitoring and treatment to prevent visual loss. If you have diabetes, we look forward to working with you and your other clinicians to preserve your vision.
We take care of patients with a wide variety of soft tissue problems around their eyes, including droopy eyelids, eyelid cancers and benign growths, inturned/outturned eyelid margins, styes, and overhanging eyelid skin.
One of the most basic ways to see well is to get good glasses and contact lenses. Our highly trained physicians are experts in measuring the optical characteristics of your eyes. We also work to understand your activities, work, and lifestyle to get you the best vision possible.
For patients who wear contact lenses, Dr. Hyder specializes in fitting soft and rigid contact lenses, as well as hard to fit lenses for patients with medical eye disesases such as keratoconus.
